The mission of the Squam Lakes Water Trail is to promote Squam as a low impact recreation area and to encourage environmental stewardship of Squam's natural resources. The Squam Lakes Water Trail has been developed by the SLA Natural Areas Committee.

The underwriter of the Squam Lakes Water Trail is Squam Boat Livery and sponsors include: Necky Kayaks, Wild Meadow Canoes and the Boulders Motel. Thanks to all for their support!

The guide is available at the SLA Store for $3.00 and includes Squam Recreation Guide with updated maps of Squam Conservation Areas.
