Join LRCC members Diego and Kevin for a steep but rewarding hike in a less known portion of the Squam Range. The Eastman Brook to Doublehead Trail is a 5.3 mile out and back that will challenge your legs as you ascend 1600 ft to the beautiful South facing peak. This hike is moderate, but we welcome all up to the challenge.
Come out to the Squam Lakes Association to enjoy stories and s’mores around a campfire with LRCC member Macie! This two-hour program will take place behind SLA headquarters around a nice warm fire pit, where we’ll read storybooks about nocturnal animals and fill in fun coloring pages.
Join the Squam Lakes Association for a fun and casual stargazing event. The month of November holds lots of exciting astronomical activity including the Leonid and Northern Taurid meteor shower, Saturn highly visible in evening, and plenty of constellations! Use our telescope, binoculars, or simply observe with the naked eye. Bring plenty of warm clothes for a chilly November evening.
