Results to this year's race are posted here:     2017 SQUAM RIDGE RACE RESULTS

The Squam Ridge Race is currently 12.2 miles. We are thinking of adding 0.9 miles to the course to bring it up to a half marathon distance. To do this we would be expanding the start and finish loops to cross a field further down the hill. Do you think this is a good idea?
The 4 mile race has much less participation than the 12 mile. Is this an event that people would like to see continued?
The Squam Ridge Race has historically been the second Sunday in September. This years race was the first Sunday in October. Which date would you prefer?
IS there something you would really like to see at the aid stations that we did not have? Please let us know what could make Aid stations better.
should we switch to a metallic type of award medal found at most other races?
What should we add or need more of post race?
If you know of someone we should approach about sponsoring the race or supplying raffle items please let us know. Proceeds from the race go back into the Squam Watershed and the trails around it.
