We are excited to offer February and April vacation camps this year. Modeled after our much loved JSLA summer camp, adventure vacation camps are an extension of the summer FUN with a winter & spring twist. Instead of paddling on the lake, campers will snowshoe on the lake.
3rd-6th grade: Spend your days exploring our natural surroundings in different seasons. February week focuses on winter skills & topics include snowshoeing, ice fishing, animals in winter, snow caves, and winter/ice safety. April week covers spring skills & topics including Earth Day, animals in spring, hiking in unpredictable weather, and becoming a scientist.
Leader in Training (9th-12th grade): Work together with SLA’s Environmental Leaders as you engage and inspire a love of the outdoors in younger campers. Build leadership skills and learn how to plan the day’s activities while maintaining group safety. This is the perfect opportunity to prepare for the next stage of responsible leadership.
Registration closes February 14, 2020 for February camp and closes April 17, 2020 for April camp.
Camp Dates: February 24th-28th and April 27th-May 1st
