Come join Jacob, Squam Conservation Intern, on Friday, July 25 from 10am-1pm on another Adventure Ecology trip. Jacob will lead participants on a morning kayak paddle to Moon Island. On the island he will cover the history of the land and the important role conservation plays in preserving the health and character of Squam. Use of SLA boats is FREE!
Every year thousands of people visit SLA's islands on Squam Lake. Every footprint left behind leaves its mark in history and on the environment, which is why it is important we do our best to balance nature along with its human interactions.
Participants will leave able to identify plants commonly found in the Squam Range. They'll them take this knowledge with them on their next adventure in beautiful Squam Lakes region.
