ANNUAL FALL WORK DAY
The weather is getting cooler, leaves are starting to change, it's almost time for our annual fall work day coming up on Saturday, October 14th from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm!
We will spend a beautiful fall day by the lake, on the islands, in the hills and on the SLA campus. Get up, get outside and get some fresh air! We'll be maintaining hiking trails, raking leaves, cleaning up campsites, and removing the docks and swim lines. Bring a friend, bring the whole family and don't forget your work gloves! Coffee and donuts will be available in the morning and lunch will be served at mid-day for all volunteers.
We'll be tackling all of these end of the year To-Dos and more! Pick your favorite, roll up your sleeves and let's get to it!
- Dock Removal
- Trail Maintenance
- Yard Work
- Campsite Cleanup
- Indoors: Annual Appeal mailing
- Swimline Removal
Volunteers and staff will meet at the SLA Headquarters, 534 Route 3 in Holderness. For more information call Melissa Leszek, SLA Community Engagement Coordinator at the SLA office at (603) 968-7336 x11 or email firstname.lastname@example.org

The SLA's 2017 Staff Homecoming Retreat is scheduled for the weekend of October 13, 14, & 15th (Friday through Sunday). The retreat is a great opportunity to reconnect with SLA friends, and to build connections between those who have worked at the SLA over the years. The retreat is run in conjunction with our Annual Fall Clean Up Day. Please join us for a weekend of fun on Squam Lake.
