Get Out and Hike! Eastman Brook

Tuesday, November 2, 2021 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Location: Meet at Eastman Brook trailhead off of Route 113 about 6 miles north of Route 3. Click here for a google map.

About the Day: Autumn is a beautiful time to get out and hike! So dust off your gear and let's go hiking. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Squam Ranger program, meet other folks interested in hiking, and enjoy a day out on the trail. Eastman Brook is one of the SLA's newest trails! This easy out and back hike (totaling about 3 miles) meanders through the woods, crosses a brook and leads to a lovely view of Squam where we will enjoy a picnic before retracing our steps back to the trailhead. Hike as much or as little as you'd like. Timing is hard to predict since it depends on the hikers so we may end a bit earlier or go later. Folks are welcome to hike at their own pace as this is not intended to be a guided hike.

Since hikes are weather dependent, we will contact those who have signed up if any changes to plans arise.

What to Bring: Hikers should bring appropriate clothing, water, and food.

Want to Join? If you have any questions about these hikes give us a call at 603-968-7336. Space is limited to 8 and registration is required. Click here to register.
