While the Holderness Celebrates Earth Day public event has been canceled, the celebration can go on. We encourage everyone to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day wherever you are.

Below are a few ideas:

  • For more information about Earth Day and ways to celebrate visit www.earthday.org.
  • Join the NH Department of Environmental Services #OneThing4Earth social media challenge by posting a picture or video demonstrating one thing you do that is good for the environment. Challenge your friends to do the same. Check out @NHEnvironmentalServices on FaceBook or Instagram to learn more about the challenge.
  • If you enjoy exploring nature and taking pictures of plants and animals, check out the iNaturalist City Nature Challenge held April 24-27 by visiting https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/city-nature-challenge-2020.

Wishing you all a Happy Earth Day!
