Volunteer: Trail Work Day

Thursday, September 24, 2020 - 9:00am to 5:00pm

Location: Meet at the trailhead. The trail for the day will be shared via email or phone with those who sign up for the day. Due to shifting priorities, the trail may not be confirmed until the day before the volunteer day.

About the Day: Volunteer with LRCC members for a day of trail work from 9:00am to 5:00pm! We will focus on clearing waterbars, removing blowdowns, clearing branches that encroach within the trail corridor, and brushing in portions of the trail where the path is unclear.

As always, this work is weather dependent. Should any changes to plans arise, we will provide updates. We encourage help from volunteers who love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on conservation work, and are excited to work with our LRCC members!

What to Bring: Volunteers should bring appropriate clothing, water, and food. Please also bring a facemask to be worn while around larger groups of people, such as trailheads, or when working in close proximity to the LRCC or other volunteers.

Want to Join? If want to join our trail crew please email register by clicking here. Registration will close 24 hours prior to the volunteer day. If you have any questions about the trail day please call 603-968-7336 or email volunteer@squamlakes.org.  Due to Covid-19 volunteer trail days are limited to four people so that appropriate social distancing can be observed between the LRCC members and the volunteers.
