Volunteer: Trail Work Day

Thursday, February 22, 2018 - 8:00am to 4:00pm

Location: Percival Trail. Volunteers will meet the trail crew at SLA, located at 534 US Rt. 3 in Holderness. Click here for a Google Map.

About the Day: Volunteer with LRCC members for a day of trail work on Thursday, Feb. 22nd from 8:00 am-4:00 pm! We will hike up Mt. Percival trail and then travel along the ridge to Mt. Morgan to take out blowdowns, lop branches encroaching on the trails, and make sure blazing is clear and visible. The day will focus on blazing the Percival trial. As always, this work is weather dependent and should any changes to plans arise we will provide updates. We encourage volunteers to join who love the outdoors, enjoy hands-on conservation work, and are excited to work with our LRCC members!

What to Bring: Volunteers should bring appropriate winter clothing, water, food, and snowshoes and/or micro-spikes depending on conditions. The SLA can provide snowshoes for up to six volunteers.
