Trail Host Days- Lakes Region Conservation Corps (Squam Lakes Association)
Trail Hosts represent an important outreach and education component of the LRCC-SLA program. Members greet trail users at SLA's busy trail heads and educate hikers about the SLA and its mission, trail erosion, and ongoing trail maintenance and construction efforts. Our most popular trailhead sees as many as 900 hikers per day. LRCC-SLA members help to direct the public, manage parking, and serve as the face of the SLA to many visitors and tourists that would not otherwise encounter the organization or learn about our work.
