Last updated 7/20/2020
We are unable to rent boats (canoes, kayaks, and sailboats) to non-campers. This will remain for the rest of 2020.
You must have an active camping reservation to reserve a boat.
Campers who wish to make a boat rental reservation must call 603-968-7336 ext15 or email email@example.com at least one (1) day prior to your stay or the Friday before your weekend stay.
We are providing canoe and kayak rentals to campers at this time for the purpose of accessing campsites. We do not rent powerboats. To reserve a canoe or kayak please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 603-968-7336 ext15. To minimize contact we will place your rented canoes and/or kayaks close to the shoreline of SLA's headquarters cove by 10 AM the day of your rental with a sign taped to it a that says your name and all life jackets and paddles inside of the boats. Please make all boat reservations at least one day prior to your arrival between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM as our office building is not open to the public at this time and there is limited cellular service on our campus, which makes processing last-minute reservations challenging. If you have a weekend camping reservation you must make a reservation the Thursday or Friday prior to your stay- no exceptions. We do not have the staff on weekends to process a reservation.
If you are renting a canoe or kayak to access your campsite please take into consideration your boating experience and the weather for the duration of your stay. If the weather conditions look to be beyond your boating experience please consider canceling your trip for a full refund. We are unable to retrieve any boaters caught in tumultuous weather conditions due to the present circumstance.
We will not provide boat rentals to non-campers.
Reservations for the season can be made after March 1st.
