Volunteer Trail Maintenance & Training

Thursday, August 10th 9-3pm

Join us for guided trail maintenance on the Doublehead Trail in Sandwich.

It’s hiking season and the trails are calling! Get outside, gain skills, and give back to the trails you know and love.

Our dedicated crew of trail maintainers and volunteers are looking to partner with you. We will focus on clearing trail, cleaning drainage, cutting blowdowns, and adjusting blazes to keep our trails safe, fun, and preserve a quality experience for everyone.

The SLA will provide all the tools (feel free to bring your own if you’d like) and know-how. Folks should show up with sturdy footwear, work clothes, work gloves, and plenty of water and snacks. We will gather at the Doublehead Trail head in Sandwich. Click Here for a map to the trail head.
