Winterfest 2020!

Saturday, February 15, 2020 - 12:00pm to 3:00pm

23rd Annual Squam Lakes Winterfest 2020

Celebrate Winter & Watershed Wellness!

Be a part of one of the most fun winter events around Squam Lake all while supporting a good cause! With skating, pond hockey, cross-country skiing, sledding, mini golf in Piper Cove, bonfire,  winter sports demos, and loads of fun—this event is not to be missed!

Come celebrate the best of what the season has to offer! A crowd favorite and the perfect meal on a cold winter day is a bowl of chili. Try one or all of the unique styles of chili during our Annual Chili Contest. Here you're the judge! Sit by the fire in our great room as you sample and vote on the region's best chili! There will be an outside bonfire to warm you up, marshmallows to roast, and hot cocoa for sipping. This year, in an effort to be more sustainable we're asking that participants either bring their own reusable mug/cup or purchase a Winterfest mug at the event for chili and drinks.

Winterfest is a special event that supports the important mission-focused work of the Squam Lakes Association in conservation, education, watershed wellness and low-impact access to the most beautiful lake and trails in New Hampshire. Please join us in keeping our Squam Lakes protected and preserved, and celebrate winter with our Squam community!

This event will take place at the SLA Resource Center, 534 Route 3, Holderness. It's free and open to the public. So grab the kids and swing on by. There's something for everyone! For more information call our office at (603)-968-7336.
