Trail Adopters Program

Trail Adopters Program

Click here if you are already a trained Trail Adopter to access to trail work report form

With the help of a hardy corps of volunteers the SLA maintains over 50 miles of trails each year! Through the Trail Adopter Program you will attend a training to learn the SLA's trail work standards. Once trained you can go out on your selected trail on your own time. Most trail adopters choose one trail in the region and are responsible for conducting basic maintenance on a minimum of two times a year. Every time a Trail Adopter works on a trail they are responsible for filling out the trail adopter report form, which is listed below. If you are interested in becoming a Trail Adopter please fill out the form located at the bottom of this page. After your form is received we will contact with you with additional information and to set up a time for a training.  If have any questions, please email Katri Gurney, SLA Trails & Access Manager, by clicking here or call (603) 968-7336.
